How Rolovio handles personal information on this website and in our apps: Rolovio Signatures, Rolovio Cards and Rolovio Sites.

What we collect

Enquiries: when you send an enquiry we receive your name, email address and, if you give them, your phone number, business name and message.

App accounts: when you sign up for one of our apps we keep your name, login email and a scrambled (hashed) password, plus the details, photos and logos you add to build your signature, card or website.

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. The apps use one cookie to keep you signed in.

What's public

Your digital card (Rolovio Cards) and your website (Rolovio Sites) are public pages: anyone with the link, QR code or domain can see the details you put on them. Your email signature is only seen by the people you email. Leave out anything you don't want to share.

Why we use it

Only to reply to you and to run the service you signed up for, including account emails such as password resets. We don't sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Where it's kept

On our own servers run by SA Webhosts, in a data centre in Germany, with regular backups.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: no longer than two years unless you become a client. App accounts: until you delete your account (Account → Delete account in each app), which removes your details and uploaded images straight away.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email contact@rolovio.com and we'll help.
